| So Monday night I went to a mexican restaurant with some friends. I was leaning against the wall while texting on my phone (ofcourse) and when I looked up, this girl who was sitting at the first table with a group of teens was waving at me. When I realized that she was waving at me she said, "All of us want you to know that we like your shirt". I couldn't remember at that second what I was wearing but then I remembered it was a shirt I had bought at the Youth Convention last year and it said "Jesus Pimped my life". I just found that funny and thought I would share it with all of you. |

| WOW! Im....a senior!! That's just weird. Im also...17!! Thats even weirder. This whole summer has been pretty weird (notice I like using that word). For some reason my family has the worst of luck with illnesses and broken bones. Just when things seem like they may calm down a little, something else happens. I guess is just a God thing. The end of this summer has been the worst, most of you know about my grandfather, and then there have been some other problems but things are going great now and Im ready to fight the good fight. Every summer we go on a big trip, this year's was cut short, but during these trips I feel its time for me to grow up a little more and I can say that I have definitely grown this summer. Towards the end of the year and as we move into 2008 I know my life is going to be changed in many ways, but that's just the adventures of life.

| So.... you know how I made such a big deal about not wanting to go to Africa last year? Well now it seems like a lot of people are going to Africa this summer and Im a little sad. So for those of you who are going all I have to say is; try your hardest NOT to drink the water...you will get deathly sick. Also, the villagers really like Blondes."

| Last night we went to "Thirsty Thursday" at the baseball game. While standing in line to get a hot dog, all of the sudden a very familiar song played over the loud speakers, "The Hamster Dance"! Maddie and I just turned to each other and started laughing then we had a few seconds of sadness thinking of all our friends in Mexico. Can't wait to see you all! |
